Conference with Youth on WASH Rights
Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) organized one day “Conference with Youth on WASH Rights” in the University of the Punjab, with the collaboration of Institute of Social and Cultural Studies, Lahore on 07 September 2018. Ms. Sadia Sohail Rana, MPA – PTI and Ms. Raheela Khadim Hussian, MPA – PML-N. WASH Expert Ms. Hiba Shakeel from Syla Waters, Mr. Shayan Sohail from Pak Vitae and Mr. Aman Hassan and Ms. Komal Tariq from Social Innovation Lab were there to share their expert opinion on water and sanitation crisis in Pakistan. Mr. Farakat Ali, Provincial Coordinator, WaterAid ,Pakistan, Dr. Wasif Ali Waseer-UMT, Dr,Muhammad Ramzan, PU and other Speakers Addressed the conference. At the end of the event, Mr. Saleem Malik, Chief Executive SPO and Dr. Rubeena Zakare, Director Institute of Social and Cultural Studies, University of the Punjab emphasized on water conservation and invited coordinated efforts from the youth of Pakistan.
