Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued warning of flash floods in the hill torrents of Balochistan and urban flooding for Larkana, Hyderabad and Karachi districts of Sindh in next 24-36 hours. Heavy thundershower have also been predicted for Balochistan, Sindh, KP, South Punjab, Kahsmir and its adjoining hilly areas that may cause flash floods and urban flooding.

Today the maximum rainfall (82mm) was recorded at Bannu district. For the next 24 hours widespread thundershowers are expected in wide spread areas of North Balochistan, Upper Punjab, Islamabad, GB and few places of Southern Sindh.

Rajanpur, Sialkot, Narrowal, Peshawar, Lorralai, Sibbi, Qalat, Hyderabad and Karachi districts are facing localized flooding and hill torrents, according the media reports. 10 deaths reported in rain related incidents out of them 3 persons killed due to electrocution in Karachi and 3 deaths have been reported in Chitral district.
