First secretary Australian Government Ms. Stacey Weeve, Ms. Najma Program Manager Trocaire, Ms. Momina Program Officer Trocaire and Ms. Shabana Program Officer Trocaire Visited, observed and witnessed the successful collaboration of the SPO with Women Parliamentarian CAUCUS (WPC) Sindh, Sindh Commission on the Status of Women (SCSW), Provincial Steering Forum (PSF) and Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) Senior Management and Project Team, on 16th of April 2018. The Australian High Commission delegation meeting with Ms. Saira Shahliani, Convener WPC-Sindh, Ms. Nuzhat Shireen Chairperson SCSW, Members of the PSF and SPO Management/Project Team was held on 17th of April 2018 in Sindh Assembly. The overall feedback of the meetings included:

appointment of Women Medico-legal Officers
revision and Implementation of Rules of Business (RoBs) of targeted pro women laws
increase in Gender Responsive Budget of Sindh Women Development Department, Social Welfare Department, Human rights Department and Home Department and civil society led monitoring of pro women laws implementation in Sindh

Provincial Steering Forum “A volunteer civil society and government pro women legislation and implementation forum” under the project is unprecedented model to continue for strengthening of pro women laws implementation in Sindh Province
