Dialogues with Sindh Assembly Legislators on Findings of Research Study on Contemplating Men Legislators’ Attitude Towards Empowerment of Women Legislators
Men and women legislators particularly from benches of opposition parties .i.e. MQM-Pakistan, Pakistan Muslim League (Functional), Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Deputy Speaker Ms. Syeda Shehla Raza, Deputy Speaker and Member of Provincial Assembly (PPPP) Sindh attended the dialogue.
Key findings and recommendations derived from the research study were shared with men and women legislators on women’s current status in various parliamentary forums (Committees etc.). Ms. Naheed Begam MPA-PML-F, Mr. Saeed Nizamani MPA-PML-F, Ms. Naila Munir MPA-MQM, Ms. Mahtab Akbar Rashdi MPA-PML-F, Mr. Nand Kumar MPA-F, and Ms. Syeda Shehla Raza Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly rendered their feedback and confirmed the reliability of very findings and recommendations.
