SPO organized two Mega events at Dadu and Mirpur Khas called “Nari Festival”, in which more than 460 women and 290 men of 120 Villages participated along with District Govt. Officials, UNWOMEN, ILO, FAO, ACF, INGOs and civil society organizations.

The project success stories highlighting the women in leadership role was displayed. Theater performances on early child marriages and people’s vulnerability and disasters were also carried out.  The event also provided an opportunity to partner organizations to display their work on their stalls. Musical performances, Sufi poetry and other cultural activities made the event more colorful. During the event SPO acknowledged and distributed Shields and certificates to District Govt. Officials, partner organizations and volunteers. Food preservation kits and first Aid Kits were also distributed among 70 Villages’ Disaster Management Committees.
