Ms. Neelam Hussain is presently associated as Executive Coordinator with Simorgh Women’s Resource and Publication Centre Lahore and as Teacher for A-Level English Literature at Lahore Grammar School (on part time basis). In voluntary capacity she is associated as the Member Board of Directors Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), General Body/Council Member South Asia Partnership (SAP), Member Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), Member Women’s Action Forum (WAF), Member AWHRC Core Group for the Declaration on Women’s Human Rights in Asia, Member/lead researcher South Asia Hub Pathways to Women’s Empowerment Research Consortium and Member ARENA Council of Fellows (ACF).

Ms. Neelam Hussain was associated as the Assistant Professor English Literature at the graduate and postgraduate levels with the Kinnaird College, Lahore.        She is the Founder Member Simorgh Women’s Resource and Publication Centre Lahore, Pakistan Women’s Institute, Lahore and Member Board of Directors SAHIL (NGO on Child Abuse).

Ms. Neelam Hussain has been the trainer/facilitator and resource person for gender and development trainings organized for national and international agencies, non-government and government institutions. She has conducted various academic and field researches, written papers and compiled, edited, published & translated several documents.
