TERMS OF REFERENCE
PRP WEBSITE – Layout and Designing, Domain, email and Web security
Scope Of Work:
The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to the following:
- Interactive, appealing, highly usable and responsive web-design: Web-designs are very subjective, we expect the hired company to show-case their best elements in delivering suitable intranet design The design and solution must be easy to use
- Average site load-time should be reasonable
- Registration of PRP Domain on webservers for the period of 2 years initially.
- Email’s generation and configuration, access to control panel
- Fire wall, and web security
- Search-engine friendly
- Able to render appropriately on a wide variety of browsers and mobile devices
- Be Secure: The solution design should adhere to data security best practices, for example: passwords should not be stored in plain-text, all forms of data should be validated, user-interactions and activities should be logged,
- Design and final solution should adhere to accessibility and compliance requirements (as defined by the IT team): The web-solution should be designed to ensure that everyone, including users who have difficulty seeing, hearing, and making precise movements, can use
- Provide public and registered users (Members’) only areas
- Site-news/trending-now content blocks: The web solution will provide content/screen areas containing:
- Calendar
- Upcoming events
- Latest news/Site news
- Trending topics
- Home Page
- Resources Section
- Training Modules:
- Interactive Map:
- Blog/News:
12. Secured and authenticated Web-access – the solution should be secure in accordance with prevailing best
13. Work with PRP team to develop sections for content on climate resilience disaster preparedness, climate adaptation & mitigation, training section, a database of case studies, best practices, government policies, map section etc..
14.Generate Email Notifications
15.Survey & Poll: Intranet should be able to conduct a survey of around 10 to 20 questions and Polling / voting system should also be available
16.Users should also be able to assign star ratings on articles, videos and other informational content
17.Multilingual support for some pages (English and Urdu)
18.Website should be developed in Joomla / WordPress Platform
19. Impart training to the staff (i.e. Administrator(s) / Users)
20. Maintenance support services may be extended for a six-month period after completion of website development work.
Reporting Responsibilities:
The firm shall work directly in coordination with the PRP secretariat and focal points
Schedule of Work
The assignment will require 45 days and tentatively will be carried out in December-2024 and January-2025
Submission Requirements
- A technical proposal outlining their approach to the project.
- A financial proposal with a breakdown of costs.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant experience in similar projects.
