Promotion of Access to Services and Protection

The project ‘Promotion of Access to Services and Protection for Vulnerable People in Northern Pakistan’ is focusing on communities having the capacity to be efficient and effective partners for decentralized structures of government and are sensitive and responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable amongst them. The project is directly implemented by the selected partners in Mansehra and Muzaffarabad. Following are three major objectives of the project:

• Extremely Vulnerable Individual (EVI) /Extremely Vulnerable Families (EVF) sensitive community participation in village development processes is enhanced
• Livelihoods of EVFs and communities at large improved
• Rights of EVIs/EVFs and marginalized groups are recognized and protected by communities and duty bearers
