SPO Conducted Orientation Sessions with Government departments of Punjab and KP
SPO in collaboration with UNFPA conducted orientation sessions with Government departments of Punjab and KP and civil society service providers on Minimum Standards and Guiding Principles in districts Rajanpur and D.G Khan in Punjab and district Nowshera in KP. A two-way referral mechanism was implemented related to the services for the GBV cases including health, police, justice, shelter homes, helplines, and available psychosocial support are included in this referral system. All the departments ensured their support and willingness to extend referral services to the WGFS in different flood-affected areas. The representatives of the Social Welfare Department (SWD), Dar ul Aman, the Crisis Center, the Health Department, the Education Department, the Prosecution Department, and various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) attended these sessions.
