SPO conducted a One-Day Advance Level Training on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Establishment of Child Protection Cell for District Education Officers (DEOs), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The training focused on strengthening understanding of GBV, child protection systems, and the operational framework required for effective prevention and response mechanisms at the district level.

Key focus areas included:
• Introduction and objectives of the training
• Core concepts of Gender-Based Violence
• Violence against children and its impact
• Legal framework for child protection
• Structure, functions, and coordination mechanisms of Child Protection Cells
• Role of DEOs in strengthening child protection systems
• Field execution planning with Master Trainers
• Closing session with certificate distribution

This initiative supports the development of a coordinated and functional child protection system within the education sector to ensure safer learning environments for children across the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, held in Peshawar.
