Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) with the financial support of Greenacre Associates (GA) and DFID implemented this project.
The objectives of this collaboration were to;
Providing staff with resources that will be trained by GA to assess the benchmark status of NGOs who SPO is in contact with.
Work with GA staff on preparation of future capacity building materials and events.
During project period SPO staff initially evaluated 2000 NGOs with whom SPO has had dealings or have partnered with. This included contacting and completing a questionnaire for each NGO in a form provided by GA and entering all the details onto the GA database for capacity assessment of the organizations.
