SPO successfully implemented the Women’s Voice and Leadership (WVL) Program with financial support from Global Affairs Canada through Oxfam Canada and Oxfam in Pakistan. The project was implemented from August 2020 to March 2024 covering Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Islamabad Capital Territory.
The objective of the project was to strengthen women’s rights organizations by enhancing their institutional capacity, leadership, and sustainability to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment across Pakistan.
Under this initiative, SPO managed grants for women-led organizations, delivered institutional development support, organized leadership trainings, facilitated advocacy campaigns, and introduced feminist monitoring systems. The project significantly enhanced the voice, visibility, and long-term sustainability of women-led organizations, enabling them to advocate effectively for gender equality and women’s rights
