SPO Annual SR Staff Performance Review Meeting – TB Program (GC-7)
Day-1 of the Annual SR Staff Performance Review Meeting organized by Strengthening Participatory Organization under the TB Program was successfully held at the Institute of Public Health Hall, Quetta, in the presence of representatives from Mercy Corps, National Coordination Islamabad, and SPO provincial and district teams.
The meeting was moderated by ‘Dr. Rafiq, Regional Coordinator SPO Quetta’, while ‘Mr. Mir Ahmed Sami, Regional Manager SPO Quetta’, delivered the welcome remarks and opening address.
During the technical sessions, ‘Dr. Sara Nadeem, Regional Coordinator’ , presented the GC-7 Progress, Achievements, Best Practices and Challenges covering 2024–25 and the first quarter of 2026. ‘Mr. Muhammad Arsalan, DHIS2 Coordinator’, shared progress and challenges related to DHIS-2 reporting systems, followed by a comparative analysis of SR performance presented by ‘Dr. Muhammad Tariq from the PR Unit’.
Policy and compliance-related sessions were facilitated by *Mr. Atif Bashir, Ethics and Internal Control Manager (PR Unit)*, who conducted sessions on Anti-Fraud & Anti-Corruption Policy and Conflict of Interest Policy. Operational updates on sputum transportation progress and RFH Portal orientation were presented by ‘Ms. Syed Nobia Batool, DMA & ST Focal Person’.
The session on ‘Community Accountability and Reporting Mechanism (CARM)’, complaints handling, and accountability framework was conducted by ‘Mr. Kashif Sheikh, Manager HR’. During the session, ‘Ms. Fakhira Zafar, MEL Manager Mercy Corps’, also shared valuable insights on strengthening community feedback systems, accountability practices, and transparent communication mechanisms within program implementation.
Officials from Mercy Corps and National Coordination Islamabad appreciated the active participation of field teams and emphasized the importance of quality implementation, accountability, coordination, and data-driven program management for strengthening TB control efforts across Balochistan.
