Following the success of its Saibaan Project, SPO is developing a Model Village in Sohbatpur, Balochistan, with the generous support of OGDC and Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak, Managing Director & CEO, OGDC.

The Model Village will include 100 houses, a community hall, park, and mosque, providing vulnerable families with safe, dignified homes and a stronger community environment.

Construction is progressing at pace, reflecting SPO’s commitment to delivering sustainable, community-driven development.

Brick masonry work is actively progressing across multiple Disaster Resilient (DRR) houses, with units advancing through key structural stages from initial wall construction to lintel level. New houses are continuously entering the construction cycle, reflecting steady expansion on the ground.

Alongside housing, work on community infrastructure has also begun, marking an important step toward creating a complete and resilient settlement. With regular technical supervision and close coordination with vendors, progress remains firmly on track.
