An event conducted by SPO In recognition of committed participation of youth in learning activities and their contribution to help communities under the PPAF Sindh Coastal Area Development Integrated Program for Sustainable livelihood and income generation at Sindh Agriculture University , Tando Jam. The event attracted 450 trained young cadre, boys and girls from disaster-prone districts of Sujawal and Thatta to show their will to look for marketing of their skills and adopt the innovative technology to cope with global challenges in real actual situation. The Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) , Dr Mujeebuddin Memon appreciated the skilled youth belonging to coastal districts of Thatta and Sujawal to look for its marketing at local, national and international level. He also distributed certificates to local social leaders in recognition for their work and dedication. Prof Ismail Kumbhar from SAU spoke that agrarian youth are the main assets and their capabilities can be utilized for the betterment of the community. He linked the skill enhancement program for youth of coastal areas to recover the losses of sea intrusion, which has reportedly taken more than three million acres of fertile lands and caused displacement.
