Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), with the technical and financial support of Small Grant and Ambassdor’s Fund Program (SGAFP), Implemented a Project, “Equitable Access to Education for Adolescent Girls in Sindh and Baluchistan Province”. The Project was successful in:
- Enrolling 2000 out of schools girls in Government Schools
- Provided required missing facilities in 30 Govt. Schools
- Established 21 Alternate Learning Paths (ALPs) where 561 girls, who did not get education in their school age were enrolled to continue their education
- Trained 200 female teachers that have been teaching in 30 identified schools serving 90 village of 7 union councils
- Engaged 5400 parents through awareness raising sessions and, provided counseling to 5400 adolescent girls who were not attending schools
