Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), with the technical and financial support of Small Grant and Ambassdor’s Fund Program (SGAFP), Implemented a Project, “Equitable Access to Education for Adolescent Girls in Sindh and Baluchistan Province”. The Project was successful in:
Enrolling 2000 out of schools girls in Government Schools
Provided required missing facilities in 30 Govt. Schools
Established 21 Alternate Learning Paths (ALPs) where 561 girls, who did not get education in their school age were enrolled to continue their education
Trained 200 female teachers that have been teaching in 30 identified schools serving 90 village of 7 union councils
Engaged 5400 parents through awareness raising sessions and, provided counseling to 5400 adolescent girls who were not attending schools
