For children, maintenance of personal hygiene helps to improve the quality of life and longevity. This is of particular importance in marginalized, low-social economic status communities with compromised hygiene conditions.
The vulnerable population of Khushab district especially women and children, are being targeted in SPO’s’ Local Rights Program’ with support of ActionAid Pakistan to improve health and wellbeing of children in schools. Sensitization sessions were conducted in UC Golywali and Warcha of district Khushab and children on using hygiene kits provided to them, consisting of; Soap, Tooth brush, and Tooth paste, Handkerchief, Comb.
